Rob grew up in Dearborn, MI, which is a suburb of Detroit. He moved at the age of 21 to work at maniaTV and hasn’t looked back since.
Rob’s two favorite pastimes in life are video games and music. At the tender age of two, Rob received a Nintendo Entertainment System from his grandparents for Christmas and his life was never the same. From that day forward, his main interest in life was all things video games, including t-shirts, cereals and pajamas. As long as it had video game characters on it, it was okay with Rob. On top of the video games, his grandparents spoiled him with an insane movie collection that would rival the local Blockbuster. This vicious video game and movie cycle continued until Rob acquired his first CD player in the 6th grade at the age of 11. He was immediately enthralled with music like Nine Inch Nails (NIN), The Offspring, Nirvana and Green Day, all to the horror of his mother
Rob realized at this point in his life that he wanted to entertain people in some form or another. He started getting involved in theater in middle school and continued on this path through his high school years. Upon graduation, he realized that going to a typical four year college wouldn’t really get him anywhere as an entertainer since it seemed like you either have it or you don’t. He decided to go to Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield, MI to study the broadcasting field.
Rob is now a host on maniaTV and he couldn’t be happier.

Turtle grew up in the center of the United States in Denver, CO. It is his home and he loves it. He hasn’t visited too many places and he likes it that way. Turtle always wanted to be on the radio, or something similar, so he got a degree in broadcasting. Through his friends, Turtle found maniaTV and started as an intern, which eventually led to a full-time position. While working for maniaTV, Turtle has worn many hats always moving towards the next big thing. He is now a host at maniaTV, as well as a producer and technical director.
Turtle is an easy-going kind of guy, but he is stubborn, as all Tauruses are known to be. Music, film and other forms of entertainment are very important to Turtle, but it’s more than just the music or just the movie, it’s the concept of creating something out of an idea that is intriguing to him.
Turtle is a life-long gamer. His favorite video games are "Street Fighter Alpha 3", "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past", "Contra", "Actraiser" and "Final Fantasy VII". Good times, good music and good food is what Turtle is all about.
